1. Add change log
2. Can You do: when we middle click on the unread item ( to open in the new tab) that item will mark as read (now that happen only when we hold "CTRL" + left click)

For that script I turn off style http://userstyles.org/styles/3014
If they work both I don't see what item is currently mark.

And...

Excellent script :)

I think GR developers have corrected a bug with uses of shortcuts for various layouts of the keyboard, I have restored working capacity of a script

PS: I tried to send you a beer but PayPal says no:

Currently PayPal accounts in Russia are only able to send payments. This recipient is not eligible to receive funds.

Sorry.

It would be nice to have the ability to turn off shift+i - I - because I like to email articles to people and use proper capitalization.

Same with shift+m and shift+l but I don't bump into them as much as I in "FYI".

Do not worry because of the beer, I got really great that someone wants to support me and my work. Apologize to all that long ago made no changes in the code, simply June 16, I have very very very important event, I advocate a diploma. Simply do not have time. Since I am going to make many improvements.. Now I do not even read news in GR =) Jim, I will try to lay out the version for you soon. Right here in the comments.

P.S. PayPal sux =)

Thank you very much for the script!

Especially the integration with Google Translate, it makes reading blogs in other language so much more easier :D

Thank you for this wonderful script. I'm sure google is eventually going to be "inspired" by it.

Great work! I'm stunned. I'd been wanting this feature for a LONG TIME. You've implemented it expertly. One thing I'd like to see: a keyboard shortcut/toggle to disable it temporarily.

long time fan
but looks like Google's changes to UI are causing the original post not to appear inside the reader as they used to

great work - my top userscript

I for one cannot wait for this to be updated for the new Google Reader interface. I don't use the autoscrolling feature; what's valuable to me is to be able to scroll over items to "Mark as Read."

Unknown said...

Sorry, that does not support the code a long time, I have a lot of other work. But I got a lot of experience and now rewrite this project.

The current working development version can be taken http://misbug.googlecode.com/svn/userscripts/gras/gras.user.js.

> what's valuable to me is to be able to scroll over items to "Mark as Read."

try dev version

trellis said...

Thanks, .crypto, I see that “mark as read on scroll” does work in the dev script. But it behaves differently from the older version.

Here’s how I suggest it behaves. In Reader’s list mode, “mark as read on scroll” should begin only from whichever item the cursor hovers over. However, if the cursor hovers over an item that is expanded, then scrolling should merely scroll that expanded item up or down past the cursor. Only when the cursor reaches the next (unexpanded) item should “mark as read on scroll” resume.

I like this!

Good evening. This is Pongy from project OE here.

I would like to say kudos for your development of Google Reader Autoscroll. You have made a good job indeed.

Feature request: Smooth autoscroll. It would be wonderful if the items would scroll smoothly, like just a few pixel rows at a time.

I want to use it in google chrome.

Hi ルーニィ, I don’t support this project for the long time, and I won’t work on it because Google Reader will be closed soon.

Sorry
